Starting at 9:30am, Flying Scot Skipper Training is for Flying Scot Wednesday and Thistle Thursday sailors who want to take their boat handling skills to the next level. Our most experienced racers and instructors set up a training course and provide coaching from the chase boat and jump in/out of boats upon request. Skippers can recruit their own crew or ask our training coordinator to assign multiple skippers to one boat.
Skipper Training Guide
After a lunch break, we'll set up a racecourse and we'll race three short races starting at 1:30pm. These will look like regatta races, but RRS 41 will not apply as outside instruction and coaching is permitted from our instructors and fellow racers.
Members of the Flying Scot Sailing group will receive an event announcement email. Those who do not RSVP yes or no (see announcement email) may receive multiple announcement emails.
