The Flying Scot Ultimate Sailing Experience provides for a 3-hour group racing experience where two students are paired up with a experienced racing instructor after a short safety and training session. Depending on wind conditions, students will even drive the boat during a race! This is a unique opportunity to have some fun on the water while learning something new and exciting.
No sailing experience required.
Students are encouraged to bring sunscreen, a pair of gloves, and clothing appropriate for weather conditions.
Please meet at the CLSA pavilion at 9am so we can complete a 30-minute safety overview and have you on the water by 9:30am.

Introduction to Sailing: Heartland Community College
Set sail for fun on the water. Whether you envision relaxation or adventure, you can choose how you want to enjoy recreational sailing. This class will help you practice and gain experience. In this four-week introductory class you will learn the skills to build your confidence and ability to sail. Tuesdays will be part classroom and part hands-on sailing. Wednesdays will be all hands-on sailing (weather permitting). Ideal for new sailors, this class is being held in cooperation with the Clinton Lake Sailing Association using their fleet of small sailboats at the Clinton Lake Marina.
