CLSA uses Google for club communications and document access. You must be logged in to your gmail account to access secure documents (e.g. Member Directory). Here are two options to consider:

1. Create a Gmail account for CLSA and forward emails to your personal account.

2. Connect your non-Gmail account to a Gmail account and sign in with your non-Gmail account. You still might want to forward your Gmail messagess to your non-Gmail account so you don't miss any important CLSA messages.

Forward Gmail messages to another account

Turn on automatic forwarding

  1. On your computer, open Gmail using the account you want to forward messages from. You can only forward messages for a single Gmail address, and not an email group or alias.
  2. In the top right, click Settings .
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  5. In the "Forwarding" section, click Add a forwarding address.
  6. Enter the email address you want to forward messages to.
  7. Click Next Proceed OK.
  8. A verification message will be sent to that address. Click the verification link in that message.
  9. Go back to the settings page for the Gmail account you want to forward messages from, and refresh your browser.
  10. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  11. In the "Forwarding" section, select Forward a copy of incoming mail to.
  12. Choose what you want to happen with the Gmail copy of your emails. We recommend Keep Gmail's copy in the Inbox.
  13. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.

Link your address to Gmail

Link you email address

  1. On your computer, open Gmail.
  2. In the top right, click Settings Settings.
  3. Click the Accounts and Import or Accounts tab.
  4. In the "Check mail from other accounts" section, click Add a mail account.
  5. Type the email address you want to link, then click Next.
  6. Select Link account with Gmail (Gmailify), then click Next.
  7. Follow the steps on the screen, then click Next or Sign in.

After you link your account, "Gmailify" will appear next to your email address. When you open Gmail, you’ll be able to read, reply to, and organize messages from your other account just like you do in Gmail.
