Work Day Goes Smoothly
Submitted by Deb Aronson on Sat, 10/23/2010 - 3:58pm
Despite some very funky weather, which included occasional lightening, thunder and brief downpours, the club has been fully winterized. Many hands made light work as we parked as many club boats as we could fit under the pavilion, got the committee boat not only winterized but the motor repaired, and otherwise prepared for winter. We were going to just head home, but people started bringing out their soup cans, baguettes and drinks. Despite the occasional cloudburst, Josh Sigmon lit the fire and manned the stew pot while the rest of us took cover under the pavilion.

Work Day a Success!

It was quite sight this past Sunday afternoon as CLSA members dawned their sqivies and waded through the shallows pulling weeds and various impediments on land and the waterline along the boat launching areas. The Commodore Joe Buddin and his fellow officers in the club[like Joe Karbarz and Gerry Christman] did not hesitate to "swing the axe and shovel" with others to clear the harbor and dock areas.Watch for pictures on line in upcoming days..it will be worth it!

Hello to all! I would like to recruit some help with the sunfish ramp during the spring workday if the weather permits. I hope to add another six feet to the existing ramp and also construct another one. I will bring all the materials, tools ect. with me. Feel free to contact me with questions or ideas.
