This year's event had 4 cardboard boat entries.

On shore activities included 3-legged racing, a clever "Follow the Captain's Orders" game that taught the terms of port, starboard, bow, stern, anchor and rudder, and an imaginative treasure hunt that required deciphering riddles to locate the next clue.
