Valley Forge Forage -- no "takers" in the rain and fog -- BUT, see "trail report"

It was so quiet...

Parking lot SE of Twin Horn Bay (Houseboat Cove, the powerboaters call it...)
Take Mascoutin Beach Road to the CLOSED beach gate (just before the beach) and turn right, following the short turn Northward and the parking lot will be on your left.
ARRIVE by 1:45 pm, so we know who will be walking with us.
Photos of participants are usually taken for posting on the CLSA site...
2PM -- group heads out on circular path that hugs the Clinton Lake shoreline and pennisula that shelters our Twin Horn Bay from wave action.

Paul and George Wissmiller pose in front of the trail marker just before walking the Houseboat Cove (Twin Horn Bay) Hiking Trail along the wooded shoreline of Clinton Lake. The 2.4 mile loop took about an hour and a half -- which allowed a stop at the bench on the point to enjoy the sun-kissed - lake view.
