The sailing summer has just begun and the wind was up this past Saturday for a combined full distance race and Commodores welcome with a full moon sail in the evening. The Flying Scots came out in full force for the 1 p.m start.  Challenging the high winds[15 to 20mph] where usually only the cabin boats dare to tread. As a result Ben and Deb Williams as well as Commodore Don Johnson [with Karen Hewitt aboard handling the jibsheets] shattered Rick Wojnars previous all time distance record of one hour and forty minutes[he was sailing a 16 ft.
