The famous professional sailor David Dellenbaugh publishes "Speed and Smarts", a bi-monthly publication that his "packed full of tips and tools to improve your racing performance". As you can see below, in the most recent issue of "Speed and Smarts" an article on sail trim features a photo of CLSA member Gerry Christman (with crew Craig Rost, Dan Arendell) sailing in the Thistle 2007 Midwinter Championships. Clearly David Dellenaugh felt the Christman crew had the sails trimmed perfectly, which is no surprise to anyone who has competed against Gerry in the CLSA races.
