Fellow Sailors,

Longtime CLSA member George Sodemann passed away this past Sunday. George sailed a bright yellow Catalina 25 (April Fool) which was easily recognizable at the lake! George served our club as Commodore and helped in his capacity as a civil engineer with the survey of our small boat ramp prior to our dredging project several years ago. In addition, George provided a tent, chairs, and aerial maps for the CLSA Spring Sailboat Show the club started in 2005 as well as manning the booth and giving boat rides. He was an active member of our club and will be missed.

Memorial services are planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, with a Meet with Family preceding at 10 a.m. The memorial service will be at Morgan Memorial Home in Savoy.
