Oct 22 - Saturday 9 to 12 am - Fall Cleanup Day -

Harbormaster Dick Hanson has planned the fall work day with lots of things that need to be done.

We need to definitely do all items except #9 and #7 could wait till spring if we don't have enough persons. Please wear old clothes for 45 to 63 degrees and sunny, gloves to carry RR ties, tables, boats, brush.

1. Stack all tables to the east side under the roof so that the surfaces drain off snow water.

2. Put 2 Banshees on the old trailer bottom side up under the pavilion roof. Place 2 wheel dollies under roof.

3. Put 2 Sunfish on old trailer bottom side up under the pavilion roof.

4. Put Ray Green under roof with canvas cover. Take down mast. Block up all trailer axles. All sails go in the sail locker in the shed.

5. Put Sunfish ramps by pavilion on the ground.

6. Railroad Tie walk bridge - remove 4 old ties, spade in steps for 2 more ties and place 6 ties LEVEL for new wider bridge. I will bring 6 "new" ties and haul away the 4 old ties. I will bring 1 spade, need a couple more.

7. Beach brush - We need to cut down the brush with a chain saw, make piles on the beach for later burning when dry. I will bring a chain saw, brush clippers, Bob Miller has stump killer chemical in the shed.

8. Committee boat - set up on blocks by the Port-a-poty . Coordinate with Greg using his trailer to bring to the site.

9. Toland dock - We have about 1 gallon of sealer left over - it needs to be used - seal new boards and boards on the outer end of dock.
