I'm selling my 1981 West Wight Potter. She's been a great little boat for us we just bought a bigger one. She has two working motors, an older Sears 47 ftlb of thrust trolling motor and an old Tanaka 1HP 2 stroke. Both work great. I'd also be willing to include the trolling motor battery box, it has a 20amp breaker for the motor and then 5 amp breaker for the two 12 volt accessory ports. We've had a great time on this boat. Sailing it on Clinton Lake dozens of times, I've even towed her down to Pensacola Florida and sailed her on Santa Rosa Sound and the Pensacola bay. All just using the trolling motor. I've never drained the battery too low and always have my phone, gps, VHF radio all charging. I replaced the running rigging last year. Put a new bow vent on to keep her fresh inside. The trailer has good tires and bearings with a spare tire. I've towed her to and from Pensacola Florida twice with zero issues. The total boat and trailer weight is only 1000lbs so you can tow this sailboat with any passenger vehicle. I've attached pictures of us having some fun on it. Her sails are fairly crisp and include a Jib, Genoa, and spinnaker, and she's dry. Not to mention she's a fine looking boat for her age. She has a swing keel so you can run her right up on the beach. This is a very attractive and versatile sailboat that is easy to learn, rig, tow, and sail. You simply can't go wrong here.
